Musical Instrument Lessons

When children reach Key Stage 2, parents can opt to pay for additional musical instrument lessons. These lessons are taught by peripatetic music teachers supplied by Entrust Music Services. The children are usually taught in small groups for around 20 minutes a week. The lessons may take place during other lessons, morning breaks or at lunchtime. The children receive 36 lessons a year and lessons cost between £50 and £60 per term. The instruments the children can learn to play are as follows:

Cello
Clarinet
Flute
Guitar
Oboe
Saxophone
Violin
