Safeguarding

St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School, its staff, governors and volunteers, are all committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of our children and young people as they progress on their life-long learning journey.

We follow best-practice guidance to ensure that all our staff are trained to the highest standard. As a result, all our staff, governors and volunteers receive annual training and updates for Safeguarding, Child-protection, Prevent and Online Safety.

If you have a concern or request support for a child or family, please contact Staffordshire Families Integrated Front Door

Operation Encompass

Operation Encompass is a police-education partnership initiative that enables immediate, confidential notification to schools before 9 a.m. the next school day when a child has experienced domestic abuse. This allows schools to provide immediate pastoral support and early intervention, minimizing the negative impact of trauma on children. St Andrew’s is committed to supporting Operation Encompass because it is designed to help children.
